the sticker design was influenced by the small town feel and historical past of portland. as a portland history docent, i’ve seen first hand the historical sites throughout the community, and I wanted that history to be reflected in the design. from the typeface personally created to represent the industrial/foodie culture, to the intricate buoy designs representing the working waterfront, numerous islands, and distant mountains, this piece was designed to reflect the community and history the town offers to visitors and locals alike.
